Nelson County's very own, Kevin Harned, is a graduate of Purdue University who began his career at WAVE 3 in June of 1998. An interest in weather as a child sparked a dream that continues to unfold today. As president of a 4-H Club he invited WAVE 3 meteorologist John Belski to come and speak to his group. Over the years, he would periodically talk to John, seeking opinions and advice. Kevin continued to keep in contact with Belski through his college years at Purdue University. |
